Pebbles
Pebbles is a group for all pre-school children and their carers. We meet on Mondays (term time only) from 9.30am-10.30am. There will be a theme each week with a story, songs and craft activity & the children can be provided with juice and a biscuit.
🌈😀 Colour Me Happy! 😀🌈
Today we read a story called ‘Colour Me Happy, Colour Me Sad’ and we sang songs about rainbows and about feelings.
There were lots of colours in the story – all the colours of the rainbow and more! The children in the story felt angry on the red page, excited on the orange page, happy on the yellow page, calm on the green page, sad on the blue page and proud on the purple page.
We talked about our own feelings and how sometimes we feel like the children in the storybook.
But God loves us and cares for us however we’re feeling; He loves us all the time, no matter what!
How Great is the Love of God!

In our story about Big Nutbrown Hare and Little Nutbrown Hare, they are having a competition to see who loves the other one the most.
Little Nutbrown Hare’s “I love you this much!” with his little arms outstretched soon becomes a very far “I love you right up to the moon and back”.
We measured our own outstretched arms – the piece of paper was very long!
Do you know God loves us EVEN MORE than that?
He loves us SO MUCH that it’s impossible to measure it, even with a very, very, very long piece of paper! Like in the song we sang about God’s love, it’s as great, as great, as deep, as deep, and as strong, as strong could ever be!
So we clapped, stamped, shouted out loud and danced to praise God for his wonderful love.
