Advent Get Togethers

Advent gives us the opportunity to prepare for Christmas and consider the miracle of the birth of Jesus. So please, come and join us for 4 sessions of informal conversation, coffee and cake, based around the resource ’They sang’. This is what the publishers say about the study;

“Have you ever wished the world was more like a musical, with characters bursting into song at the slightest provocation?

In the nativity story, there are four sudden, Spirit-filled songs from the heart;  Zechariah’s song, Mary’s song, the song of the angels and Simeon’s song”.

In ‘They Sang’, Amy Scott Robinson gives us material to help us to explore these ancient poems of praise and prophecy, and invite us to discover our own song.

The sessions will take place in the worship area on Wednesday November 26th, December 3rd, 10th and 17th at 7.15pm and on Thursday November 27th, December 4th, 11th and 18th at 1.45pm

All the sessions are stand alone so you are welcome to attend any of the sessions as is convenient for you. Talking about Jesus together is a very special experience so please come and join us! Everyone is welcome.
