Psalm 139: 9-10        (NRSV)

‘If I take the wings of the morning and settle at the farthest limits of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me fast’.

As the weekend approaches, I share with you a beautiful poem to reflect upon in your quiet time with God, written by Margaret Langdon. Thank you Margaret.

FROM DEEP WITHIN
Out of the depths I cried to Thee
And wondered what the reply would be
” You are my child and I love you so
Did you think I would ever let you go?”

From deep within my spirit soared
What a wonderful, loving, caring Lord
But again the world pressed down on me
And I couldn’t rise to fly with Thee

Within the depths He filled the space
And wrapped me in His arms embrace
He carried me up into the light
It was a glorious radiant sight

Now I know that wherever I go
He’ll always be there and I’ll always know
That whatever happens deep within
He’ll raise me up to be with Him
